Itinerary (day 01)

13:00 HRS We begin our tour visiting the Qorikancha or Temple of Gold, considered the most important religious center of the Incas and where until today the Inca culture and the Catholic religion coexist. The Korikancha Temple is a Catholic church on the outside and an Inca temple on the inside.

Then we will walk through the cobbled streets of the city of Cusco, appreciating its imposing Inca walls and squares until we reach the Cathedral of Cusco where we will appreciate its beautiful architecture and giant paintings of the Cuzqueña School of painting dating from the colonial era.

Continuing our adventure we will visit the viewpoint of San Cristóbal, from where there is an impressive panoramic view of the city of Cusco.

Following our tour, we will visit the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, built with stones more than 15 meters high where to this day it is a mystery how this huge retaining wall was built to protect the city of Cusco from the attack of its enemies.

Then we will visit the archaeological centers of Quenko and Pukapukara ending our tour with the visit to the archaeological center of Tambomachay that was built as a resting place for the Inca and whose canals and waterfalls pay tribute to the water. Then we will return to your hotel.

The tour ends at approximately 18:00 Hrs
